Mission

Somemusicalrelationshipsrequireanongoingeffort,whileothersseemtofunctioneffortlesslyfromtheverybeginning.Fromtheirfirstmeetingin2009on,theconnectionbetweentheItalianguitaristFedericoCasagrandeandtheFrenchbassplayerFlorentNissebelongedtothelattercategory.Performingasaduowasamatterofwhen,notif.Thisawarenessledthemtoseveralyearsofcollaboratinginvariousmusicalcontexts,whentheyrealizedthatasaduothemostexciting,stimulatingandcreativesituationswerealwaysimprovisedmoments.Thecompletefreedombroughtbyplayingunplannedmusicallowedthemtofindnewways,andtobuildacontinuouslyreneweddialogue.Thetimehadcometorecordtheseexplorations.Inthesummerof2020theydecidedtobookastudio,andtospendtwodaysplayingwithoutanypreconceivedidea,anyplanorsafetynets.Thisalbumistheoutcome.MadamePolareAtelierdesignedthelogoandalbumcover.
