Designing a Millennium

In 2024, our studio was selected to lead the visual identity for Caen’s Millennium — a meaningful mission for a truly exceptional event.

We are proud to announce that MadamePolare has been awarded the public contract for the graphic design of Caen 2025 Millennium.

This ambitious project, led by the GIP du Millénaire de Caen — which brings together the City of Caen, Caen la mer, the Normandy Region, the Calvados Department, the University of Caen and the Normandy Chamber of Commerce — aims to celebrate 1,000 years of history through a rich, inclusive, and unifying cultural program. Our agency was chosen to shape the visual universe for all communication surrounding this symbolic anniversary.

This assignment is part of a multi-operator framework agreement that also covers digital strategy, video production, press relations and event planning. MadamePolare is in charge of Lot 01 – Graphic Design, with the mission of leading the artistic direction, designing both print and digital materials, and deploying the overall visual identity of the Millennium.

It’s an honor and a great responsibility that we embrace with enthusiasm — a spirit of collaboration and transmission. The first visuals will be revealed over the coming months, as the official program unfolds.
